I Survived.

Well, friends...

Freedom Week is officially OVER!
I'm free from Freedom Week!

This is how I feel now:
+ I'm incredibly exhausted.
+ I felt like last week wasn't real life. I kept saying all week long, "I don't know what normal is anymore!" Dramatic much?
+ Overwhelmed with happiness/joy.
+ Like I haven't really seen my hubby in a week and a half (oh, right...I haven't).
+ Feeling a little sluggish/sickly (probably from said exhaustion).
+ I'm at work today (my decision since everyone else is off today).
+ I decided to take Friday off and have a long weekend, but we're having our house painted, so I'll probably still be exhausted. Oh well.

Other than the usual Freedom Week struggles (this is my second year to be a part), which is to be expected (late, late nights...early, early mornings...upset parents...eating junk food because that's all there is when you don't have time for lunch)...I feel so blessed!

God did some amazing things through the lives of 980 students on our campus! Hundreds of first time salvations, 60 baptisms on Sunday morning, another 100 or so students who felt called to full-time ministry. These were things we had fervently prayed for, for over 4 months and then 10 weeks of prayer with our staff every Thursday morning. We also had each and every worship session covered in prayer by sweet volunteers in our church who came and took time to pray for radical life change!

God showed up and He said YES to our prayers!

I serve a very big and very awesome Savior.
I work with amazing people whose hearts are sold out for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I work in an incredible church that offers the facilities to put something like this on and who truly believe in the hearts of young students.

I hope to be back on my blogging game this week and next.
I'm praying for more rest :)
