Then along came Facebook. I gave up my Xanga days (you remember that, right?!), and took up Facebook right when it started, when you needed an actual invite and a local high school to be attached to. Over time, my obsession with documenting and remembering my life has grown - With Facebook, Twitter, better cameras, Instagram, and a year ago today...Blogging :)
I've always loved writing (hence the early Xanga days) and I always kind of knew somewhere deep down that I wanted to start a blog after college. It took some time, but I jumped in head first with this post a year ago! I had no idea where the blogging world would take me, what exactly I wanted to accomplish with my blog, but I knew I wanted to write freely and document this simply beautiful life of mine. And I'm so glad I did :)
I've met so many wonderful people and I've grown so much. It's expanded my creativity and allowed me to practice more discipline in my life. I'm not so sure where this blog will be in the next year, but I'm excited to keep venturing forward, growing big or staying small, it's all so fun to me. So thank YOU for reading! Whether from the start or you're fairly new...It's YOU who has stuck around and has made my writing and documenting worthwhile.
I want to really show my appreciation for you by allowing you to have yet another way to document your own beautiful journey...
We often get caught up in the social media aspect of our journeys. We blog, post, and document the pictures and stories of our lives online almost daily. But too often we can forget about taking those pieces of our journey and making them into something beautiful, something fun and worth looking back on and remembering. With My Memories Suite digital scrapbooking software, you can do that!
Their scrapbook software makes it easy and fun to document all of the fun journeys we take in this life! The software comes with so many pre-made templates for any occasion in life: Holidays, birthdays, travel, and the different seasons of the year.
And once you choose your template, there are literally hundreds of different options and choices to customize it and personalize it to your own liking. I could spend hours making these scrapbook pages if I wanted (think all of the fun of PicMonkey but in a picture scrapbook form, something you can create to make memories).
Loading pictures into their pre-made templates is easy:
Tons of choices to customize your photobook:

I had fun taking some of my fun, old memories and making them into some beautiful scrapbook pages. One of the best things about My Memories Suite is that everything you create, can eventually be put into your hands! It can all be printed and stored in your home so that you can pull it out and look at it at any time. It takes the hours of cutting, pasting, and arranging of scrapbooking away and instead all it takes is a simple trip to the store to print, and you have your most favorite memories right in your hands!
Our trip to Bluebird Mountain this past fall:
Remembering my backpacking adventures through Europe:
And of course, no memory would be complete without some loving on my sweet husband:
But they are so much more than just making a scrapbook page! With their scrapbook software you can make photo books, cards, videos, really the possibilities are endless! And it's all easily downloaded onto your computer, simple as that. It really got my creative juices flowing and I want to help get yours flowing too!
